How to make posts easy to read

Even a useful post can be skipped if it looks heavy. In Telegram, structure especially matters, because the user often reads from a phone and quickly decides whether to stop on the text.

Recommendations:

  • break the text into short paragraphs, where one block holds one idea;
  • leave a blank line between blocks of meaning;
  • use lists when you need to show steps, features, or options;
  • bold only key words and important takeaways;
  • use italics sparingly, for emphasis rather than as a constant style;
  • use emoji as navigation markers or part of the tone, but don't put them after every phrase;
  • keep the formatting consistent, so it becomes part of the channel's recognizable style.

Readability isn't the same as decoration. Its job is to reduce effort: a person should quickly grasp the topic, scan the structure, and decide what's worth reading in full.
